Bowlero Family Fun Centre Newsletter August 2006 (2007-10-20)
The bowling season may be over but work is already under way to prepare for the coming season and many exciting events that come with it. Summer kicked off of course with the newly expanded driving range taking centre stage. With several shaded stalls, our frequent customers don't have to fear the hottest sunny days now and for those sun worshipers, there are still plenty of exposed stalls as well as a natural grass hitting area. That's right there is now a large area of natural grass for you to practice your iron shots just as if you were in the middle of the fairway! The range is open seven days a week, so come out and work on your game any way you want to! Meanwhile, the Bowlero Family Fun Centre continues to work hard and make improvements, many of which were based on YOUR input from the customer surveys we have been taking in. As you may recall, last summer we renovated several area's of the centre, including our washroom facility at the South end and in the middle of the house. This summer that work continues as we are completely renovating the restrooms in the restaurant and just South of the front desk. We are also adding two new party rooms for those private gatherings and especially for kid's birthday parties. When we did our customer surveys one of the most popular requests were new ball returns. So, we are very proud to announce that we will proceed with new ball returns for this bowling season! We have been very proud to have hosted several very special events as well as looking forward to more which are fast approaching. "The weekend to end Breast Cancer" held their first annual bowlathon here at the Bowlero on Friday, June 30th. The event raised over $2,500 for breast cancer research and was a huge success. Congratulations to Sara Capaldi and her crew for a wonderful event!
