Bowlers from across Ontario visited Canada's largest ten pin bowling centre during each
weekend in May for the Ontario Provincial Championship Tournament.

Starting with the opening ceremonies which took place on the 5th of May, over 1500
bowlers competed in both the open and women's divisions in team, doubles and singles
events. And without a doubt the tournament has been a huge success and the scores have
been out of this world! In less than 24 hours Don Owchar and Steve MacLelland each had
300 games with MacLelland ending up with an 800 series!

Other local bowlers have had a strong showing including Todd Sim who currently leads all
events with scores of 702, 716 and 732 for a total of 2150. Ed Deblock sits 7th in the
all events category with scores of 663, 724 and 685 for a 2072 total.

On the women's side local bowlers Rachel Cohen and Jamie Morand lead the doubles event
currently. Anne Marie MacLelland has also made Windsor proud posting a 748 series while
bowling in the team event.

Driving Range Gains a Reputation
Windsor's best kept secret in golf might be less of a secret by the end of the summer.
More and more local golfers are finding the Bowlero Family Fun Centre's driving range to

golfers.
With the prepaid bucket packages starting at 6 large buckets for just $45.00, there is
great value to be had at the range as well. Summer time is upon us and with it comes
frequent hot sunny days but have no fear, the range includes shaded stalls as well as
plenty of cold soft drinks on hand! If you haven't already done so, come on out and see
