Black Widow Pearl
So far in 2008 there is no hotter ball here at the Bowlero than the Black Widow Pearl. The Widow Pearl is a perfect match up to the synthetic lanes and house conditions. Several bowlers have shot honor scores with the Widow Pearl so far including Marc Hall, who shot is first career 300 in the Walkerville league.
The Widow Pearl comes out of the box with a 4000 grit Abralon finish with a high gloss polish. This allows the ball to skid easily down the lane, saving it's energy for a strong back and hook. The low r.g. core design takes some of the sharpness away from the back end hook which creates the perfect balance between hook and control. The result is tremendous pin carry.
Perhaps the greatest strength of the Widow Pearl is the fact that it suits many styles of bowler. The softer releases who prefer to play straighter down the lane will appreciate it's back end recovery and carrying power while the power players will enjoy the confidence of throwing it out knowing it will make it back with plenty of pop.

Black Widow Bite
A heavier oil compliment to the highly popular and successful Black Widow Pearl is the Bite. A large volume, low r.g. "gas mask core" surrounded by the violent bite reactive cover stock and a more textured shell allow for use on heavier oil with ease.
The bite can be drilled to compliment players who want to create earlier roll, which can allow them to play deeper on the lane. The smoother cover reduces the skid and allows for greater grip to the lane surface the entire length of the lane.
When playing straighter lines on heavier oil this ball can be drilled with more neutral pin placements to create reduce track flare. When wanting to swing the ball deeper than the track, the pin can be placed closer to leverage and the mass bias in stronger positions.
