Tournament Rules
- Eligibility: USBC rules will govern this tournament. No current PBA cardholder will be permitted in this tournament.
- Fees and Prizes: The cost is $70.00 per entrant. Bowlero is guaranteeing $1000.00 for 1st place on each tournament date, based on 40 entries. Prize fund ratio will be 1 in 6. Prize money will be paid out based on a participant’s highest 3 game series between the first and second squad for that tournament date.
- Stepladder Finals: The bowlers with top 5 highest 5-game series, including handicap, will be included in a stepladder finals to be held immediately after the qualifying round. Bowlers will be seeded from highest qualifying series, to low-est. Each stepladder match will include a 2-game series including handicap, with the winner advancing to the next match. All ties at the end of qualifying, for a stepladder position, or during a stepladder match, will be broken by a 9th & 10th frame tiebreaker, including handicap.
- Averages: Averages will be based on participants highest Bowl.com average with 21 games or more using the 2019-2020 Season. If no 2019-2020 average, participant will use their highest Bowl.com average with 21 games or more using 2018-2019 season. If a participant does not have a Bowl.com average with 21 games or more, the bowler will use their scratch scores.
- Re-Rates: Bowlero reserves the right to rerate any player at anytime. If your current 2020 B.A.T. tournament average exceeds your entering average by 10 pins or more after 5 games, then your B.A.T tournament average will be used for all subsequent 2020 B.A.T. tournament entries. Previously re-rated bowlers from the B.A.T. tournament for this year will use their re-rated averages.
- Handicap: Handicap will be based on 90% of the difference between the bowler’s average and 220, and will be capped at a maximum of 40 pins per game.
- Registration will take place 30 minutes prior to each squad time on each tournament date.
- Tardiness: A player arriving after a game a game has already started may bowl. Score(s) will begin with the frame currently being bowled. Zero score will be given for frame(s) missed.
- All tournament disputes shall be decided by the tournament directors. Their decision will be final.
