Q: Is Bowlero the same as Bowl America?

Bowlero has rebranded select Bowl America locations to provide an elevated bowling and entertainment experience. While the name has changed, you’ll still find great bowling, arcade games, and delicious food, now with an upgraded atmosphere.

Q: Do I need to make a reservation, or can I walk in?

Walk-ins are always welcome, but we recommend making a reservation in advance to guarantee your lane, especially on weekends and during peak hours.

Q: How many people can bowl in one lane?

Each lane can accommodate up to six players comfortably.

Q: What is the cancellation policy for reservations?

All purchases are nonrefundable and noncancelable. Reservations are held for up to 15 minutes, after which time your reservation may be forfeited.

I would like to thank the exceptional staff here at this establishment. They hosted my grandson's 5th birthday party September 5th, 2026. They did a phenomenal job. Carolyn, Rosie, and Chrystal. I ordered some wings for us adults. Rosie the cook didn't disappoint, the wings were cooked to perfection, so I asked Carolyn to let Rosie know to drop another batch, totalling $ 110 for us adults. There was no complaints. We all enjoyed the chicken wings. Thanks Rosie the cook and the entire staff, we appreciate you having us.

Lanes are slick and ball return returns my balls back cleanly with no gunk. Bonus points for having a functional Foul Line sensor and the updated touch screen points keeper is nice. Overall one of the better alley in NOVA. Nelson, the server is wonderful and super attentive. We’ve been making the long drive here frequently because it’s good!

Now more than ever we need to support older, independent bowling alleys. Private equity, like everything else in our country, is causing the operation of every bowling alley in the country to be consolidated into the hands of corporate operators that are ruining the experience. That means having a little understanding and grace for a business that’s just trying to stay alive in the face of billionaire buyouts that want to ruin the game and make a night of bowling hundreds of dollars for a substandard product.

Visiting from out of town, my family decided to spend an afternoon bowling here, and we had a fantastic time. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Everyone enjoyed bowling, and we also grabbed some pizza, wings, fries, and a pitcher of lemonade while we were there. The food was tasty, and it was a great way to relax and have fun together as a family. I highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys bowling and is looking for a fun, family-friendly atmosphere.

Great place for a field trip. This place does great with accommodating trips. They are very polite and understanding that it's a first for many kids. I like that they have a package so students can pay less for the trip since some families struggle with money. The organization was smooth and very positive! They are attentive and care about your experience. I would recommend this place for schools that want a fun field trip.

The customer service was excellent running a child's birthday party. I chose this location because I was unsatisfied with my service at a competitor bowling alley nearby for a previous event. I'm so glad I chose Bowl America Shirley. I highly recommend this establishment for any bowling birthday parties for your child.

I had a fun time at Bowl America Shirley. We visited the facility on Memorial Day to escape the rainy day. It was our first time and the other comments are 100% correct - the manager greeted us with the best energy! The price was affordable, drinks were cold, and our game was the icing on the cake. I look forward to returning with more friends!

I came in to bowl after calling several other bowling alleys and getting rude responses. Bowl America Shirley location answered politely and was excited to receive me. The bowling was great , the ambiance was fun, and the food was just what I needed. However, what stood out the most was the server Chrystal! She was attentive , quick , efficient and personable. I felt like she actually cared about me and just providing a transactional experience. I would definitely come back just to have Chrystal serve me again. It was refreshing to see workers in the workplace care about their job and consumers. Thanks Chrystal and see you soon!!!
