About Ronald McDonald House of New Brunswick
The Ronald McDonald House in New Brunswick opened in 2005 is the second House opened by Ronald McDonald House of Central & Northern New Jersey. The House is located in the heart of New Brunswick and in close proximity to three (3) hospitals with incredible pediatric services and rehabilitation programs. In addition we are very close to a medical facility offering pediatric proton therapies. Our mission is to offer families the ability to be close to support their ill children while at the same time be able to take an active role in their recovery and medical regimens. Since opening we have served hundreds of families traveling from all over New Jersey, the United States and indeed the World. Because of the pediatric specialties and expertise of our partnering hospitals the demand for our rooms has more than tripled since opening. In the past several years we have turned away as many as we could serve. In 2014 that total amounted to 374 families. As a result we are in the midst of a capital campaign to expand our House. We can only do this with the support of our community. For more information about our Houses please log onto www.rmh-cnj.org or Facebook at www.facebook.com/RMHCNJ
